An 11-year-old boy was hit by a car in Cicero, police said. The car was traveling eastbound and struck the victim around the 5200 block of West 31st Street at approximately 8:18 p.m., according to police. A witness said the boy ran into the street before he was hit. Police say he was taken to Stroger Hospital and listed in serious condition, with scrapes and bruises on his body. The driver remained on the scene, and citations are being issued, police said.
